• Lectures organized by related scientific societies can be scheduled in evening slots, on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday, 19:00–20:00, during the General Assembly week. Only registered participants of the EGU General Assembly will be able to participate.
  • It is possible to have a hybrid set up (Zoom link to be provided by EGU). A conference assistant will be in the room. Rooms will be assigned by the programme committee by mid-February.
  • We recommend contacting the division president(s) that are closely related to the topic of your lecture in order to avoid overlaps with other topic-related scientific sessions during the week and other division’s medal(s) and awards. The names and emails of the EGU Division Presidents can be found here: https://www.egu.eu/structure/divisions/
  • Together, you can identify the preferred date and time for your medal lecture. Once defined, please send the following information to Copernicus by 31 January 2023: session title, session description, convener first and last name, and convener email address.
  • If an abstract is to be submitted, please send the abstract and associated invoice information directly to Copernicus for implementation. A regular Abstract Processing Charge (APC) of €50 gross per abstract will apply.
  • In all the cases, it is expected that the recipient is registered as a participant.
